.... VC Prof Sandabe Unveil Plan to Establish Centre for Ajami and Qur'anic Studies in the versity.

The Council Chairman of Borno State University Alhaji Dr Muhammad Indimi OFR had today (Thursday January 28th, 2021) paid a visit to the University.

The Chairman was received by the Vice-chancellor Professor Umar Kyari Sandabe alongside top management staff at the Admin block.

The VC on behalf of the Management and entire members of staff welcomed the council Chairman and briefed him about the development of the University. He added, we are happy and appreciative for the concern to the University. "We have made alot of efforts, paying advocacy visits to many organizations seeking for interventions which yielded results especially from NITDA, NCC, NNPC among others.

The VC said, Senate building, Staff quarters, Students hostel and some faculties were completed awaits commissioning and the University has also reached advance stage in establishing Centre for Ajami and Qur'anic Studies.

The VC expressed appreciation for the strong intervention and support of His Excellency Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum rendering to the University always.

The Council Chairman in his response said, "I'm here to assess how far you reached since I left last year but am overwhelmed with the level of development so far in the University.

The VC took council Chairman round the newly completed Senate building and faculties that awaits commissioning anymoment from now.
