#ProjectGiveBack 1 hour per week volunteer teaching initiative which we started in 2016 but went dormant for sometime is back.
Schools have resumed and post insurgency Borno and especially the educational sector which is the most hit is one area that needs all of us to rally round and contribute to its revival. With Infrastructure destroyed, existing ones converted to camps and pupils out of school to say the least are the challenges faced by the sector, however, In its efforts to restore destroyed critical infrastructure the state Government has done marvelously well, the return program where Internally Displaced Persons are returning home presents a situation where more and more schools are being freed up is also another good news for the educational sector and all of us.
We can collectively contribute to this efforts by selflessly giving one hour of our time in a week just to volunteer to teach in public schools (preferably your Alma Mata or any school close to you). On a much lighter note see the 1 hour per week as giving 12mins everyday, but instead give it back as a whole in just 1 hour.

We've all been saying Borno shall rise again and the responsibility to make it rise and shine lies with all of us. The educational sector needs us all to give back and help resuscitate... One critical area we can contribute to is the Human Resource gap by giving back as volunteers.
